Materials & Manufacturing
FDM 3D Printing
FDM is the go-to choice for most functional projects.
We source our filaments locally from Matter 3D, and specialty polymers from Esun and Duramic.
PLA
The most affordable plastic we offer, PLA is derived from renewable resources such as corn starch or sugarcane. It is known for its excellent surface finish and many available colours, making it ideal for non-load-bearing applications like decorative models, prototypes, and toys. However, its brittle nature and low thermal resistance limit its use in high-temperature environments or applications requiring significant impact resistance.
Maximum Working Temperature: 40°C
PETG
Less brittle than PLA, PETG is a versatile material for many applications. It is known for its toughness, chemical resistance, and good surface finish. It excells in mechanical parts, protective components, and other functional applications, while still being cost effective.
Maximum Working Temperature: 80°C
ABS
ABS is known for its strength, durability, and high impact resistance, making it ideal for mechanical prototypes and end-use parts. It is commonly used in automotive components, consumer products, and toys due to its robustness. ABS can also be easily sanded and finished for a professional appearance. However, it degrades when exposed to UV light, limiting its use in outdoor applications unless treated with a UV-resistant coating. ABS is well-suited for high-impact applications but requires consideration of its environmental exposure to maintain performance.
Maximum Working Temperature: 100°C
ASA
ASA offers the strength and impact resistance of ABS with enhanced weather and UV resistance, making it perfect for outdoor applications. It is suitable for automotive components, outdoor fixtures, and parts exposed to harsh weather conditions. ASA maintains its mechanical properties and appearance even under prolonged sunlight exposure.
Maximum Working Temperature: 105°C
TPU
TPU is a flexible, rubber-like material known for its excellent abrasion resistance and elasticity. It is ideal for applications requiring parts to bend, stretch, or withstand repeated stress, such as gaskets, seals, and protective cases. TPU is also used in custom-fit wearables and protective gear due to its resilience and durability.
Maximum Working Temperature: 80°C
PA (Nylon)
Nylon is known for its exceptional strength, flexibility, and durability, making it ideal for functional parts, mechanical components, and industrial applications. It offers high wear and tear resistance, ensuring longevity in demanding uses. Nylon's high melting point and excellent mechanical properties enhance its versatility. However, it tends to absorb moisture from the air, which can affect its performance and strength if not properly managed. Despite this, Nylon's robust properties make it a go-to material for engineers seeking reliable, durable parts.
Maximum Working Temperature: 100°C
PA-CF (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Nylon)
PA-CF combines the strength and durability of nylon with the rigidity of carbon fibers, resulting in incredibly lightweight and stiff parts and a beautiful matte finish. It offers a high strength-to-weight ratio and excellent thermal resistance, making it suitable for high-performance applications such as drone frames and automotive components. Also available in a high temperature variant to withstand up to 135°C under load.
Maximum Working Temperature: 105°C
Polycarbonate
Polycarbonate is renowned for its exceptional strength, impact resistance, and heat resistance. It is one of the toughest materials available, suitable for applications requiring high durability under the worst condidtions like automotive parts, however, its high rigidity can make it prone to cracking instead of bending under extreme stress or impact, which can be a limitation for certain applications.
Maximum Working Temperature: 135°C
PC-CF (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polycarbonate)
When you need the stiffest of materials, PC-CF is for you. Offering superior mechanical properties and an incredible strength-to-weight ratio it is ideal for aerospace, automotive, and other high performance parts. The carbon fiber chips provide an excellent strength-to-weight ratio and thermal resistance.
Maximum Working Temperature: 140°C

SLA 3D Printing
SLA is perfect for intricate parts and assemblies. Parts have a smooth surface finish and are incredibly detailed.
Standard
Standard resin is known for its ability to produce incredibly detailed prints, making it an excellent choice for DnD & Warhammer miniatures, figurines, terrains, and sculptures. It offers an incredibly smooth, matte surface finish that can be sanded & painted. However, standard resin is brittle and not suitable for functional or load-bearing applications. It also has limited thermal resistance, making it less ideal for high-temperature environments.
Maximum Working Temperature: 50°C
Tough
Tough resin offers improved impact resistance and elongation at break compared to standard resin, making it suitable for functional parts with intricate details. It is ideal for applications that require both strength and fine features, such as mechanical prototypes, snap-fit assemblies, and durable figurines. While not as strong as traditional engineering plastics, tough resin provides a balance between detail resolution and mechanical performance.
Maximum Working Temperature: 70°C
Mechanical
Mechanical resin is engineered for high strength and low friction, making it perfect for functional, interlocking parts such as gears, bushings, and mechanisms. Its wear-resistant properties ensure smooth operation and longevity, even under repeated stress and movement. The material's surface hardness prevents scratching and abrasion, maintaining the precision and integrity of the printed parts. Mechanical resin is the go-to choice for creating durable, high-performance components in complex assemblies and mechanical systems.
