Who we are
Morin 3D provides 3D printing, 3D scanning and CAD services from 619 Discovery St, Victoria, BC, Canada. This policy covers morin3d.ca, including the contact form, the DFM review and the instant quote.
What we collect
- Details you give us: your name, email address, phone number, company and messages, and any files you send.
- Part files: files you upload to the DFM review or the instant quote, with the process and material you choose.
- Order details: delivery and billing information needed to complete an order. Payments are handled by our ordering platform.
- Usage information: your IP address, browser and device, the pages you visit and how you arrived, including ad campaign tags.
How we use it
- To answer enquiries, prepare quotes and make and deliver your parts.
- To run the DFM review and improve how it checks parts.
- To keep the site secure and prevent abuse.
- To understand how the site is used and measure our advertising.
- To keep the records the law requires.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the site and the business: website hosting and security (Cloudflare), quoting and ordering (Phasio), analytics and advertising (such as Google and Microsoft), and the tools we use to manage enquiries. Some of these providers store or process data outside Canada, including in the United States and the European Union. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
DFM review files and reports are kept for up to one year. You can delete your file at any time with "Delete my file" on the review page. We keep other information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires.
Cookies
We and our providers use cookies and similar browser storage for analytics, advertising measurement, security checks and to remember how you arrived on the site. You can block or clear them in your browser settings, but some parts of the site, such as the quote tool, may not work without them.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent, by emailing [email protected]. We may need to confirm who you are first. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca) or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia (oipc.bc.ca).
Changes
We update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
